The brainchild of Brian Choper, The Choper Jazz Project is an elegant, yet sometimes slightly aggressive band featuring contemporary straight-up jazz, where the musicians don't just play, but jam together, trading 8's or simply trading solos, always feeding off of one another and sharing their energy with one another and with the audience -- in a way that takes arrangements and turns them into band jams...intentionally! They create a sound and a groove that provides class and energy to any event. This is a great band for anyone who likes watching good musicians open up and have fun.
